About the Artist

Jan Buscho lives in Marin County, California with her husband Bob Buscho, an ER doctor and accomplished wood turning artist. Her favorite subjects for her paintings include the picturesque landscape of Marin and her own backyard garden. Her work explores light and atmosphere, resulting in a strong sense of mood in her paintings.

Jan works primarily in oils on canvas in sizes ranging from 8” x 10” to larger paintings up to 60” x 36 . She has exhibited extensively and has conducted workshops in oils and pastels, some in her backyard.
